Structure and Working Groups
The WSCP consists of an Executive and four Working Groups.
For local arrangements to be effective, there needs to be engagement with organisations and agencies that can work in a collaborative way to provide targeted support to children and families as appropriate. These are referred to as the relevant agencies. THIS IS THIS PAGE

The WSCP Operational Working Group sits below the WSCP Executive and is in place to ensure the effective delivery of all the activity of the Partnership and is held to account by the WSCP Executive.
This provides the organisation and delivery of local child safeguarding practice reviews and action plans feeding them into the Operational Working Group. The Safeguarding Working Group also provides challenge to the Partnership on the implementation of action plans arising from Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and other learning reviews.
This develops effective training, workforce development materials and events which ensure that both core and specialist knowledge and skills development is supported. Delivers a practice assurance programme to inform, and improve practice and outcomes for children.
